As always, we aim to provide a platform for international college students to delve into cutting-edge scientific research while enhancing their English proficiency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#x1f5d3; Date &amp; Time: February 29th, 17:00-18:00 Japan time<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#x1f31f; Guest Speaker: Dr. S\u00e9bastien Boyer<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Position: Head of the Medical and Veterinary Entomology Unit at the Institut Pasteur du Cambodge (IPC), member of the Pasteur Network<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>&#x1f52c;Research Paper: <em>Host-Feeding Preference and Diel Activity of Mosquito Vectors of the Japanese Encephalitis Virus in Rural Cambodia<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Link to the paper:<strong> <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.mdpi.com\/2076-0817\/10\/3\/376\"><strong>https:\/\/www.mdpi.com\/2076-0817\/10\/3\/376<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Please read the above research paper and prepare any questions you have (2-3 questions) for Dr. Boyer before the session<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>&#x1f557;Session Format:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Introduction: (~5 min)\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Get to know the other members and Dr. Boyer.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Presentation: (~10 min)\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Dr. Boyer will give a brief presentation about his background and introduce the research paper he has chosen (<em>the details of the paper are in the \u201cresearch paper\u201d section above)<\/em>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Q&amp;A Session: (~30-40 min)\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>This is your chance to engage directly with Dr. Boyer and ask him any questions you may have.
