On March 17, the Institut Pasteur du Japon (IPJ) joined the symposium “International Symposium on Planetary Health and the Cycles of Life,” held at Takanawa Gateway. A sincere appreciation to the organizers and supporters, including the University of Tokyo’s Research Institute of Planetary Health.
The symposium convened world-leading experts to explore the critical intersections of environmental health, aging, and medical innovation. These themes reflect some of the most pressing global health challenges of our time and underscore the importance of interdisciplinary and international collaboration.
The program featured distinguished presentations, including Dr. Miria Ricchetti (Institut Pasteur) on modulating ageing trajectories, and Dr. Shahragim Tajbakhsh on stem cell innovation. The symposium concluded with a summary and closing remarks by IPJ’s Representative Director Dr. Anavaj Sakuntabhai.
IPJ is honored to have supported this important gathering and looks forward to continuing to foster international collaboration at the forefront of science and global health.
